What is Valuation?

Valuation is NOT insurance. Valuation offered by Van Line carriers is carrier contractual liability based on the weight of your household goods. It is established by the California P.U.C as $0.60 per pound per article that is lost or damaged. This limits the moving company from paying out the actual value of an article, in the event of a loss or damage. It allows them to pay a minimal amount on damage or loss based entirely on the weight of the item itself. For more information on purchasing additional insurance please viset Baker International.

How far in advance should I call Wonder moving Company?

The sooner, the better. We accommodate all of our customers' schedules as best we can. To ensure that you get the date(s) you want, please call or email us as soon as you can.

When are you available?

We are available Monday-Sunday and our general operating hours are 8am-6pm, but we are happy to accommodate special moving hours to that you may request.

Do you move Pianos?

Yes! We move most upright pianos, but please talk with us ahead of time so that we can make the necessary arrangements. We do not move baby grand or grand pianos.

Do you connect/disconnect appliances?

For liability reasons, we do not connect or disconnect any water, gas, or electrical appliances.

If I am packing myself, what needs to be done?

All misc. items including pictures, collectables, lamp shades, books etc. must be packed and labeled in sealed boxes.

How do I make a reservation?

Please call or email us with all necessary information pertaining to your move and we will provide you with a quote. A 25% non-refundable deposit will secure your spot on our schedule.

Do you move unique or very large items?

Yes! We move almost all items. Please contact us ahead of time to discuss any unique details about your move.

Do you schedule in person estimates?

Yes! We prefer to do a site walk of the home ahead of time (if possible) to provide the most accurate estimate possible.
